The daily life
Some small tips & trix that doesn't need to cost a thing.
First, turn off all electric devices that isn't in use. TVs, radios, computers, towel driers, etc uses a lot of electricity even in standby mode.
Turn off lights when you leave the room and use energy saving bulbs.
House insulation
Adding extra insulation to your loft and walls keeps the heat inside the house in the winter. By preserving the heat, radiators and water heaters doesn't have to work as hard as before. Make a calculation over the cost of insulation and the savings of the same, usually this investment has paied for itself in 5-10 years depending on house, size and were you live.
