Eco-driving

To maximize the range and minimize energy consumption you can use a technique
called eco-driving.
The following tips is for minimizing fuel consumption on a gasoline car, but
many of them ca also be used while driving an EV.
> Drive as little as possible on first gear, change to second gear after only a couple of meters.
> Skip gears, e.g. from second to forth.
> Accelerate rather quickly.
> Use as high gears as possible.
> Use engine braking as often as possible.
> Stop as little as possible, it's better to roll slowly towards a red light then braking into a stop in front of the intersection.
> Use the clutch only when changing gear.
> Dismount roof racks and similar, lowering the air resistance.
> Have the right tyre pressure.
> Use the AC only when needed.
