About Goelectric.eu

Launched in November 2007, "Go electric, EU!" or goelectric.eu aim to spread the knowledge of electric cars. Technology has made a comeback of the electric car possible, now it's only the hard part left. To make the general public demand and use electric cars.

Fredrik

Hi, I'm Fredrik, the webmaster.
Living in the EU, therefore the top-domain ".eu". I first came in touch with electric cars thru the Swedish electric car forum
Elbilsforum [Link] and have since then wanted to find a way to promote those cars. In my honest opinion we could have 80% of all cars electric and still cover 100% of peoples transportation needs.

In the future I have a dream of converting a small or mid-sized sports car to electric drive using lithium batteries. My demands on a car for daily commute: 200km (about 125 miles) on one charge in summer, top speed of 100km/h (about 62 mph) and look like a "real" car. It will be a challenge but my hopes is to be able to do this in 5-10 years, depending on how well the recent development in battery research turns out to be for the consumers.

Until then I read, write and learn about electric cars and maintain this site!

/Fredrik

Ads

The ads placed on this site helps it running. The making and continuous development of Goelectric costs time and money, one of them is possible to eliminate with this ads. All of the income from the ads goes to pay the hosting bills and if one day, Goelectric would bring me one or two dollars they will be invested back into this project and the conversion of my own EV.
